Sensei Dominic Foster

Sensei Dominic Foster, 7th Dan in Aikido and 7th Dan in Aikijo, started practising Traditional Aikido in September 1980 at Wolverhampton Polytechnic (now the University of Wolverhampton) under Sensei Don Williams and Sensei Mick Bell.

Sensei Foster then migrated over to the Aikido Fellowship Headquarters under Shihan Ralph Reynolds.

Sensei Foster is a fully qualified Senior Instructor in the Aikido Fellowship of Great Britain and is a BAB qualified Senior Coach (Coach Level 3).

He founded Fleet Aikido Club in September 1986. Currently, Fleet Aikido Club constitutes the southern most club within the Aikido Fellowship of Great Britain.

He was promoted to the grade of 7th Dan in March 2013.

Following the sad demise of Shihan Ralph Reynolds in 2006, Sensei Foster has remained a staunch supporter of the Aikido Fellowship.

Sensei Foster is the southern contact point for the Aikido Fellowship and a member of the Aikido Fellowship's governing body or Yudanshakai.
